A necessary device for the Neo system. Reasonably priced and makes the whole system simple to set up. No messing about with router ports or fixed IP addresses.

Very easy to set up and configure. The app is starting to look a bit dated (not yet optimised larger 4.7" or 5.5" iPhone screens), but it's functional and it is under active development even if the focus hasn't been on optimising for larger screens. The HomeKit support is great and completely mitigates any concerns over the app itself.

Had a little difficulty setting the hub up as the house is quite large and had to buy a booster to get the upstairs rooms sorted. That solved the problem, the system is quite easy to use and makes it easier than adjusting each of the 13 stats in our system.

It works just fine. However, I would suggest that there is no need to upgrade from gen 1 unless you have other Apple Home Kit devices. I don't and I prefer the Neo app over the Apple one! I am disappointed with the Apple app, so no advantage. If you are new to Neo it makes no difference to you, so enjoy the benefits of having full control of your heating system!
