    For connected neoFlo control, neoHub G3 is required. neoFlo is not compatible with neoHub Gen 1 or Gen 2, so customers using an older neoHub will need to upgrade to neoHub G3.

    Want neoFlo to call for heat?

    neoFlo controls the radiator itself. If you also want the wider heating system to respond when a room requires heat, the setup uses neoFlo + neoHub G3 + RF Switch.

    RF Switch acts as the wireless receiver and connects to the boiler, zone valve or other heat-source output so the system can respond when heat is requested.

    Installer note: RF Switch must be wired to the boiler or other heat source by a suitably qualified installer.

    Compatibility and key checks

    • neoFlo fits radiator valves with an M30 x 1.5 connection as standard.
    • An RA adaptor is supplied.
    • neoFlo is compatible with neoHub G3 only. neoHub Gen 1 and Gen 2 are not compatible.
    • neoFlo can be used alongside existing Heatmiser underfloor heating controls to extend smart control into radiator-heated rooms.

    Can I use neoFlo on its own? Yes. neoFlo can operate independently for local radiator control without neoHub.
    Do I need a neoHub G3? neoHub G3 is required for app control and for connecting neoFlo into the wider neo ecosystem. It enables neoApp control, remote access, schedules and wider connected functionality. If you already own a neoHub Gen 1 or Gen 2, you will need to upgrade to neoHub G3 to use neoFlo with connected app control. If you only want local radiator control, neoFlo can still be used without a hub.
    Can I add neoFlo to an existing neo underfloor heating system? Yes. neoFlo can extend the neo ecosystem into radiator-heated rooms, allowing you to build on an existing underfloor heating setup rather than starting again.
    How do I know if I need RF Switch? If you want neoFlo to do more than regulate the radiator and also enable the wider heating system to respond when a room calls for heat, you will need neoHub G3 and RF Switch as part of the setup.
    Does neoFlo use batteries? Yes. neoFlo uses 4 x AA batteries, with battery life designed to last up to six years.
    Will neoFlo fit my radiator valve? neoFlo uses an M30 x 1.5 connection and is supplied with an RA adaptor. Additional adaptors may be required for some older radiator valves.

      Zone upgraded to Neoflow

      Upgraded a poorly located existing Neostat thermostat to an RF Switch (v2), Gen 3 hub and neoflow to better control single room temperatures and allow the NeoFlow thermostats on each radiator to drive the boiler demand. A couple of hiccups during set up where I struggled to add zones within the App. Killed the App and tired a few times but no joy. A hard reboot of the 'phone sorted it out and I was able to add the zones back in quickly and without any hassle - everything worked as it should. Here are the basics.... 1. Started by deleting all the zones and location in the Heatmiser App associaed with the existing hub - effectively removed the app's knowledge of the existing setup. 2. Replaced the Gen2 neohub with the Gen3. Linked to the new Gen 3 hub in the app. 3. Replaced the poorly placed NeoStat with the RF switch to utilise the existing channel wiring back to our UH2. Yes, a UH2 - very old school... 4. Installed the NeoFlow valves and paired to the RF switch as per the NeoFlow instructions. 5. Added each of the existing zones (kitchen, bathroom, utility room etc.) back into the app linking each of our existing Neostats. 6. Added the new NeoFlow zones. System up and running and have effectively turned a single zone 'main house', into 5 new zones for each room.
