Product Description
Wireless Receiver
IMI Heatmiser RF Switch V2
A simple wireless link that helps unlock smarter system control.
The RF Switch V2 is a surface-mount wireless receiver designed to bring reliable wireless switching into your heating setup. It is capable of controlling 2 heating zones and 1 hot water zone, making it a practical problem-solver where a wireless link to the heat source or wider system is needed.
Within the neoFlo proposition, RF Switch V2 plays an important role in setups where radiator demand needs to do more than adjust the valve alone. When used as part of the wider neo system, it helps enable a more complete and connected heating setup.
A Useful Network Enabler
RF Switch V2 is more than just a receiver. It gives installers and homeowners a neat way to create wireless connectivity between control devices and the wider heating system, helping extend what the system can do without hard-wired control at the point of demand.
Why Choose RF Switch V2?
Why It Matters for neoFlo
For customers exploring neoFlo, RF Switch V2 is the product that helps move the conversation from simple radiator control toward a more complete smart heating setup.
Where a project needs a wireless receiver to support wider system response, RF Switch V2 helps provide that missing link, making it a useful part of the neo ecosystem and a practical solution for more advanced installations.
Compatibility
The RF Switch V2 is compatible with Slimline-RF v3 and neoAir v3.
In addition, it can be paired with UH8-RF v2 to provide a wireless link to the boiler.
Best For
- Installations needing a wireless receiver for wider system control
- Projects using compatible wireless Heatmiser controls
- Homes where a wireless link to the boiler is useful
- neoFlo-related setups where a more complete control solution is being built

I haven't actually wired this up and used it yet, but it looks like a well designed and robust product. I was also particularly happy with the installation instructions and manual which are well written, unlike some of the stuff you get from China.

Good product, but could be better
This unit works well and the range between my NeoAir and the switch spans 2 floors of a domestic property. But there are three important points to be aware of: 1. The width of the unit is 108mm, 20mm wider than a standard single UK face-plate, so this cannot be installed onto an existing back-box if it is 'flush' with an adjacent face-plate/back-box. 2. the wiring is designed to be internal (from the back) which isn't convenient if you want to replace an existing switched outlet plate (as I do). You will need to cut holes in the front casing and devise some way to restrain the cable at exit. 3. the override switch isn't very useful, certainly cannot be used by the end-consumer. After a lot of experimentation it looks like my NeoAir sends out a repeat status command every 20 minutes. Thus, if NeoAir isn't calling for heat and the 16A switch override is used, NeoAir will send a repeat "off" command which switches the unit off and cancels the override.
