It is also a simple way to help extend RF coverage within a property, supporting more reliable wireless communication across the system.

Fitting this has solved an ittermittent problem of occasional missed RF commands from our thermostats to the UH-8 wireless centre. It has bugged us for a year until I realised that the UH-8 aerial is part shielded behind the water tank and then we were making matters worse by stowing metal items nearby. Note that the aerial cable is only 3m long (clearly stated on Heatmiser's website) which can limit siting options.
