Product Description
This thimble sensor is compatible with all Heatmiser Thermostats that accept remote sensors. The sensing element is mounted in an attractive ‘thimble’ enclosure for surface mounting, typically on a backplate or a ceiling tile in the natural air flow of the room.
The cable length is 2m
Please note, this is not suitable for use in bathrooms or areas with levels of condensation.

For plasterboard walls, drill a 9mm hole, feeding the cable through the hole. (You wouldn't use the locking nut on the thimble sensor) Then glue the sensor in place. You can extend the cable up to 20m, but use twin twisted screened cable such as Beldon 8451.
