Using it only for extension of mesh network around the Neo hub. I get the impression that the plug extends the network only when it is on which defeats the other wifi use.

Not so good on this one, easy to set up and incorporate with neo hub. However this plug would not cut the 240 supply to the outlet, so any appliance plugged in would not switch off! Waiting for my replacement as I type.
