IMI Heatmiser UH8 RF Mini
Compact wireless multi-zone control for installations where space is limited.
The UH8 RF Mini is a compact 8-zone central wireless wiring centre designed for use with compatible Heatmiser RF thermostats, including Slimline-RF v3 and neoAir v3. It delivers the core functionality of a larger multi-zone wireless wiring centre in a much more installation-friendly format.
Ideal for small plant rooms, tight service cupboards and retrofit projects, it provides centralised switching for underfloor heating zones, radiator zones and a domestic hot water output, while also offering a volt-free boiler or heat source connection.
Compact Format, Full Multi-Zone Capability
The UH8 RF Mini is built for projects that need a full wireless multi-zone wiring centre without giving up valuable install space. It can switch actuators or valves requiring a 230V AC signal, while also supporting pump, valve and hot water outputs as standard.

How It Works
When a paired thermostat calls for heat, the UH8 RF Mini provides a 230V AC output on the relevant zone. It can also activate the boiler or heat source output at the same time, and where required, send a radio signal to an RF-Switch for remote heat enable.
If the zone is configured as an underfloor heating zone, the unit can also switch the manifold pump and valve outputs. If the zone is configured as a radiator zone, it will not activate the UFH pump or valve outputs.
If a hot water enable signal is received from a time clock, only the hot water output becomes active, typically feeding a cylinder thermostat and hot water valve.
Three Zone Output Modes
Each zone has a 3-position toggle switch, allowing the output behaviour to be matched to the application:
- Position 1: Zone output only
- Position 2: Zone output with heat demand
- Position 3: Zone output with heat demand and manifold pump
Installation Notes
The UH8 RF Mini can be installed directly to a wall using four screws or mounted onto a DIN rail using the supplied clips.
It should be installed as close as possible to the equipment it controls. It must not be placed inside a metal enclosure unless the extension antenna is used and positioned externally to avoid signal issues.
An optional external aerial and Boost repeater are available for installations where RF conditions are more challenging.
