IMI Heatmiser UH8 RF Mini – Compact wireless wiring centre for multi-zone control
The UH8 RF Mini is our compact 8-zone wireless wiring centre, designed for seamless integration with the Slimline-RF v3 and neoAir v3 thermostats. Offering the same core functionality as the UH8-RF v2 but at around half the size, the UH8 RF Mini is ideal for installations where space is limited—such as tight service cupboards, small plant rooms or retrofit scenarios.
Positioned next to the underfloor heating manifold, the UH8 RF Mini provides centralised switching for up to 8 heating zones, along with an output for a hot water cylinder. When any zone calls for heat, the wiring centre delivers a 230V output to the relevant actuators, underfloor heating pump and valve. A volt-free boiler connection is also included, ensuring compatibility with almost all boiler types. Boiler signalling can additionally be sent wirelessly via the RF Switch v2 for a fully wireless installation.
Each zone can support up to six actuators, and an optional external aerial is available when the wiring centre is installed in areas with reduced signal strength, including metal enclosures.
A built-in configuration option allows you to designate zones as either underfloor heating or radiators. Radiator zones will not activate the UFH pump, valve or boiler—these should be triggered from the end switch of the radiator valve instead.
